This entry is the first on this blog since the 2008 election. 

As I eternally regret NOT having blogged in 2016, and in whatever infinitesimally small way, enabled a monster to sit in the Oval Office, I shall not be so negligent this time. So there will be many posts indicating why NO ONE, repeat, NO ONE who is a part of the Republican Party deserves to hold office again in the United States of America until they recover their souls, so tragically lost in the disaster of 2016. 

But there will also be posts that deal with good, bad, or indifferent musings on a variety of subjects -some happy, some hopefully perceptive, others simply ranting and raving. But each of us has a point of view, and our First Amendment says that we get to express it, so why not take advantage of that opportunity?
